The Vinces is inspired by the Trilby, a hat which first appeared on the scene in London in 1894 with the theatrical play of the novel of the same name by George du Maurier. Elegant yet sporty, the Vinces pays homage to the city of San Lorenzo de Vinces, in the province of Los Rios, which was known as “little Paris” during the golden age of Ecuadorian cocoa, because of its high level of trade with Europe and France in particular, which ended up having an influence on the local fashion, garments and arts.
